Jammu: In a bid to combat drug abuse, Jammu & Kashmir Police conducted a raid on suspected drug hotspots in Rajeev Nagar, Marathi Mohalla, and Qasim Nagar areas under Operation Sanjeevani.
The raid, led by SP South Jammu and SDPO East, aimed to eradicate drug peddling, smuggling, and addiction. Intensive checking of pedestrians and vehicles was carried out; while police assured that the drive will continue under Operation Sanjeevani. Meanwhile, a counseling session was also held with residents and the youth to raise awareness about the ill effects of drugs.
