Distt Election Office Samba convenes training for polling staff

Samba: The District Election Office Samba conducted the second round of training for polling staff in preparation for the upcoming Constituency Assembly elections.
The session was chaired by District Election Officer (DEO) Rajesh Sharma, who provided vital instructions to ensure a smooth and efficient electoral process.
Ranjeet Singh, the Nodal Officer for Training Management, initiated the training session with a detailed briefing for the polling parties. The training was facilitated by District Level Master Trainers (DLMTs), who focused on enhancing the skills of polling staff in operating Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) syste
During the session, the DEO emphasized the necessity of adhering strictly to the guidelines set forth by the Election Commission of India (ECI) to ensure the elections are free and fair. The DLMTs provided an in-depth presentation on the roles and responsibilities of the polling parties, highlighting the importance of transparency and accuracy throughout the electoral process.
This training is a crucial step in ensuring that the upcoming elections are conducted with the highest standards of efficiency and integrity, reinforcing the commitment to a fair democratic process.
