Jammu: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu, Joginder Singh, visited Police Stations Arnia and Bishnah to assess crime, security, and election preparedness. Accompanied by SP Headquarters Jammu, SSP Jammu inspected the stations, met with officers, and discussed the overall crime and security scenario, as well as election preparedness.
On this occasion, SSP Jammu directed officers to ensure a peaceful atmosphere during the Assembly Elections, maintain proper security checks, and remain alert and active. He emphasized preventive policing, impartial conduct, and vigilance on suspicious individuals, while he also instructed officers to visit polling stations, liaise with election staff, and ensure smooth conduct of elections. Moreover, SSP Jammu stressed the importance of briefing all personnel on directions and instructions from senior formations and prioritized the welfare of the cops.
