Jammu: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu, Joginder Singh, conducted a comprehensive review of the security grid along the border belt of RS Pura-Arnia on August 29, 2024. The visit aimed to assess operational preparedness, logistics, and synergy among police and security forces.
The SSP Jammu visited various Border Police Posts (BPPs), including Badyal Brahamana, Agra Chak, Baspur, Chakrohi, Deewangarh, Sai, Treva, Allah, and Police Stations Arnia and Bishnah. He emphasized the need for infrastructure upgrades and assessed current capabilities.

During the visit, SSP Jammu interacted with BSF officers, stressing the importance of synergy between police and security forces. He expressed satisfaction with the operational readiness of the border police posts and urged officers to continue working with dedication.

The border security grid has been bolstered with newly trained jawans and strengthened Village Defence Group (VDG) committees. The BPPs serve as the third line of defence, complementing the primary and secondary roles of BSF and Army, respectively. SSP Jammu assured that the BPPs would be further strengthened, with support from VDGs and regular manpower.
