Jammu: In a decisive move against illegal mining operations, Jammu Police has launched a crackdown on those exploiting public resources.
The enforcement action, carried out at various locations in the rural zone of District Jammu, resulted in the detention of three vehicles involved in illegal sand mining. During the operation, the following vehicles were detained by the several police teams named below:
BPP Sandwan detained one tractor trolley, which was found loaded with sand and lacking both a registration number and Form A, while PP Sidhra detained one tractor trolley with chassis number MBNAK49ADMTG3676, also loaded with sand and without Form A. PP Manwal detained one dumper with registration number JK21G/0036, similarly loaded with sand and missing Form A. The District Mining Officer has been notified to pursue necessary legal actions against the offenders. Jammu Police reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding public property and eradicating illegal mining practices in the region.
