SVEEP activities, PTM hosted in Doda Distt Schools

Doda : The Schools across Doda District were abuzz on Tuesday amid extensive awareness activities held under Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program and Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM).
The Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) awareness programs are currently being hosted in Doda District, under the guidance of District Election Officer Harvinder Singh and the supervision of Nodal Officer SVEEP Parkash Lal Thapa.
The SVEEP awareness activities included interactive sessions, quizzes, and discussions on electoral literacy, inter house sports activities. Through these activities students were acquainted with the significance of participating in the democratic process.
The PTM sessions provided a platform to parents, teachers, and students to discuss ways to promote electoral awareness and encourage young voters to exercise their franchise.
By conducting these activities, SVEEP and PTM aimed to empower the community, especially young voters, to become informed and active participants in the electoral process.
The ongoing SVEEP awareness programs in Doda District are expected to make a positive impact on electoral participation and civic engagement in the region
