Pulwama: Dr. Harbaksh Singh, the Awami Itehad Party (AIP) candidate, filed his nomination papers for the upcoming assembly elections from the Tral constituency on Tuesday.
Accompanied by his supporters, Dr. Singh highlighted the support he received from the people of Tral, particularly Muslims, during the DDC elections, which led to his victory. He accused regional parties of promoting traditional politics, and sought similar support from the people of Tral in the assembly elections, scheduled to be held in September. The AIP candidate criticized regional parties in Kashmir for prioritizing family rule over youth opportunities. He emphasized that AIP, led by Er. Rashid, truly understands the people’s problems and the pain of those in jail. Dr. Singh appealed Jamat E Islami to support AIP, citing the party’s dedication to societal betterment, eradicating social evils, and ensuring the safety and prosperity of youth.
