Srinagar, Aug 27: The parts of Jammu & Kashmir likely to receive rains and thundershower till September 3, officials of Meteorological Department said on Tuesday.
They said from August 31 to September 1 a brief spell of rain and thundershower at isolated places of Jammu & Kashmir is expected, while as during September 2 to 3 the weather will likely remain generally cloudy with possibility of spell of rain/thundershower at many places.
The officials warned that there is a possibility of intense showers for a brief period at few places with heavy rain at isolated places of Jammu division during August 27 to 30 towards late night/early morning.
They continued that flashfloods, landslides, mudslides and shooting stones may occur over few vulnerable places.
