Ganderbal: The first randomization of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) for Kangan and Ganderbal Assembly constituencies of District Ganderbal was held here under the supervision of ROs and representatives from different political parties.
The randomization process focused on allocating 400 Ballot Units, 400 Control Units, and 400 Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) units for polling stations across both assembly constituencies of district Ganderbal.
Out of 400 Units each, 235 were allocated to Ganderbal Constituency and 165 for Kangan Assembly Constituency.
The randomization was carried out using dedicated software designed for this purpose.
Earlier, the Returning Officer briefed political representatives about the process, reassuring them of comprehensive arrangements in place to guarantee fair polls.
