Kashmir At National, Int’l Level, Thanks To Sonia Gandhi For Reposing Trust In Me For The Post Of JKPCC Chief’
Srinagar : The newly appointed J&K Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Tariq Hameed Karra said that he wanted Rahul Gandhi to contest recently held Parliamentary polls from Srinagar Lok Sabha seat given his deep-rooted Kashmir connection.
“I am thankful to Sonia Gandhi for reposing trust in me and handing over the responsibility of J&K PCC chief,” Karra said addressing workers meeting in Srinagar in presence of AICC chief Maliarjun Kharge and leader of the opposition Rahul Gandhi.
Karra said that he wanted Rahul to contest parliamentary polls from the Srinagar Lok Sabha seat. “We will ensure that in the next Parliamentary polls, Rahulji would contest from Srinagar Lok Sabha seat give his old bond with Kashmir,” he said, adding that people of J&K doesn’t need to show their wounds to Rahul as he knows pain and sufferings of people better than anyone else
