Assembly Polls: Election Expenditure Observer reviews election Preparations in Kishtwar

Kishtwar: Election Observer for Expenditure Monitoring for Kishtwar Sameer Kumar Jha Wednesday conducted a thorough review of the arrangements put in place for the smooth and transparent conduct of the upcoming Legislative Assembly Election 2024 in the district.
During the visit, Jha inspected the 24/7 Election Control Room and constitution of key teams, including the Expenditure Monitoring Team, the Media Certification and Monitoring Committee, the Social Media Monitoring Committee, and the Video Viewing Tea
He also interacted with the officials and staff deployed for electoral process, reviewed their work, and issued necessary instructions. He emphasized the importance of coordination and teamwork to ensure the effective functioning of these units.
In an interactive meet with District Election Officer (DEO) Rajesh Kumar Shavan and Returning Officers (ROs) of all three Assembly Constituencies of the District, Jha discussed critical issues related to the election process.
He stressed the need for diligent efforts to ensure that the elections are conducted in a free, fair, and transparent manner.
