Assembly Elections: Zonal, Sector magistrates imparted training at Udhampur

Udhampur : The District Election Authority Udhampur organized a training program for Zonal and Sector Magistrates here Wednesday.
The training session, chaired by District Election Officer, Saloni Rai was held in the DC Office Conference Hall.
Deputy District Election Officer, Dr. Anirudh Rai, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Dr. Umesh Shan, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Ramnagar, Rafiq Ahmad Jaral besides other Zonal and Sectoral Magistrates attended the training programme.
District Level Master Trainers gave a detailed presentation on the preparation and conduct of the General Assembly Elections 2024, highlighting the critical role of the Zonal and Sector Magistrates in ensuring a successful electoral process. The participants were thoroughly briefed on their responsibilities and the importance of their role in maintaining the integrity of the election process.
Addressing the trainees, the DEO underscored the importance of adhering to established rules and regulations to guarantee free, fair, and transparent elections in the district. She emphasized the need for strict compliance with electoral procedures and engaged actively with the trainees throughout the session.
The training concluded with a question-and-answer segment, where participants had the opportunity to clarify their doubts. Master Trainers responded to queries, providing satisfactory explanations and reinforcing the understanding of election procedures and rules.
