Doda : The Expenditure Observer for District Doda Arshdeep Singh on Wednesday inspected the District Election Office and held a meeting with members of the Expenditure Monitoring team constituted for the upcoming Assembly elections 2024.
District Election Officer Harvinder Singh gave a PPT presentation detailing the chair about steps taken by district Election Authority for monitoring election related expenditures.
The Observer urged the officers to carry out their responsibilities diligently till the conclusion of the election process. He assured the team of his accessibility throughout the election period, encouraging them to reach out with any queries or concerns.
After the meeting, the Expenditure Observer inspected MCMC, Complaint management Cell, Video viewing team and Assistant Expenditure Observers cell established in DC office. He reviewed expense records, verified expenditure authenticity and stressed on adherence to election laws by the election office.
The Expenditure Observer was accompanied by District Election Officer, Harvinder Singh, Deputy District Election Officer Doda, and others.
