Srinagar: The Director General J&K Police R.R. Swain and Special DG, J&K Nalin Prabhat on Tuesday decorated IPS officer Sujit Kumar with the rank of Inspector General Police (IGP) in a piping ceremony held here on Tuesday.
The IGP Kashmir V.K. Birdi was present on the occasion. The officers congratulated Sujit Kumar and his family and expressed hope that he will continue to work with the same zeal and dedication for the department and for the people. The officers wished him good luck for his future endeavors.
Police said that Sujit Kumar has been posted as Incharge IGP Security J&K by the government of J&K vide an order issued recently.
