Awantipora: In a vibrant display of cultural talent, UPS Jawbehara clinched the first position in the cultural event held at DPL Awantipora on Thursday, as part of the Independence Day celebrations.
The event, featured ADC Awantipora Nazir Ahmad Mir as the Chief Guest, who also had the honor of unfurling the National Flag. The ceremony was graced by the presence of several distinguished guests, including SSP Awantipora Ajaz Ahmed Zargar and Director AIIMS Awantipora Dr. Sachanand Mohabty, who were among the Guest of Honour. Additionally, the occasion saw participation from Addl.SP Awantipora, SDPO Awantipora, Dy.SP DAR Awantipora, Tehsildar Awantipora, and other senior officials from both the civil administration and Police Department. It is pertinent to mention that the cultural event conducted by the students of UPS Jawbehara was held under the supervision of Shakeela Nazir Wani.
