Srinagar : The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah have greeted people on the eve of 78th Independence day of the country.
According to a statement issued from party headquarters here, Dr. Farooq praised the founding fathers of the nation, hoping that the nation continues to uphold the principles of pluralism and diversity.
In his greetings message, Omar pointed out that the founding principles of truth, compassion and fraternity are enshrined in the constitution, hoping that the country will continue to remain a shining example of such values in the world.
