Shopian : The District Sheep Husbandry Organization Shopian Tuesday established 17 income-generating units comprising of 9 units of 50 ewes under HADP, 07 units of 20 ewes under ISDS, and 01 shearing unit under ISDS in CD Blocks Chitragam, Shopian, Keller, Kaprin, Kanjiullar and Ramnagri.
The establishment of units took place in presence of the designated district-level purchase committee presided over by the Joint Director Extension Sheep Husbandry Department Kashmir, Dr. Basharat Amin Kuthu.
District Sheep Husbandry Officer Shopian, Sheep and Wool Development Officer Shopian, Technical officer Shopian and other officers and officials of the department were present on the occasion.
