DLIC approves 50 cases under Mission Youth schemes at Kulgam

Kulgam : A District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) meeting was on Tuesday convened under the aegis of Mission Youth J&K’s Mumkin, Tejaswini and Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative schemes, here.
The meeting, presided over by the District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan was held in the Meeting Hall of Mini Secretariat Kulgam.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Chief Planning Officer, General Manager DIC, District Statistics & Evaluation Officer, Lead District Manager, Assistant Director Employment, Assistant Regional Transport Officer, DNO JKEDI, District Coordinator, NRLM, Employment Officer, DE&CC and Career Counseling Officer, DE&CC.
At the outset of the meeting, a comprehensive review of the progress under Mission Youth schemes was conducted.
It was reported to the chair that as on date 288 cases under Mumkin, 32 cases under Tejaswini and 49 cases under Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative have been disbursed. The chair was briefed that the released subsidy amount of Rs. 212 Lac and Rs.35.64 lacs stand utilized in full under Mumkin and SEI schemes respectively.
The Nodal Officer for Mission Youth self-employment schemes presented 38 new cases under the Mumkin Scheme, 02 cases under Tejaswini scheme and 10 cases under Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative. The committee members scrutinized all the files and interviews were conducted under the Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative as per the standing norms of the Scheme.
The Committee approved all 38 cases under the Mumkin scheme, 02 cases under Tejaswini scheme and 10 cases under Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative. Further, enhancement of loan in favor of one beneficiary under SEI was also approved.
During the meeting’s deliberations, the Chairman DLIC further directed the Nodal Officer for Mission Youth and Lead District Manager to expedite the clearance of pending matters.
It was also impressed upon cluster Head JK Bank Kulgam to get all cases lying pending with different bank branches for pre-checks sanctioning/ disbursement cleared at an earliest and provide a detailed report regarding the same to Nodal Officer Mission youth within one week positively. Swachhta Pakhwada/ Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign: Mega Event Organized at Wullar Vantage Park Bandipora.
