Tral: In an effort to promote sports among the youth and foster a sense of camaraderie, the 42 RR Battalion organized a volleyball competition at the Bajwani Indoor Stadium in Tral on August 10-11, 2024.
The event aimed to motivate young individuals to pursue sports as a career, inculcate sportsmanship values, and connect with the local population.
The competition featured two categories: open boys and open girls. The event played a significant role in building trust and confidence among the future generation and the army, promoting peace and tranquility in the region.
Youth from the battalion’s area of responsibility participated in the event. To boost morale and confidence, all participants received medals and certificates. The winners and runners-up were awarded trophies, and all participating teams received volleyball nets and balls. Refreshments were also provided after the prize distribution ceremony.
