Kulgam: As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and in the lead-up to the 78th Independence Day celebrations, district administration Kulgam on Monday organised a mega tiranga rally.
The rally commenced from mini secretariat Kulgam, marking a significant celebration of India’s national identity. Waiving the tricolour, the event saw the enthusiastic participation from officers of the district administration, police and students from various schools. “The idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag,” an official said. ADDC, Bashir Ahmad Wani, ADC, Viqar Ahmad Giri, ACR, Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, CEO, DYSSO and other senior officers were also the part of this occasion.
