Kulgam: Under ‘My Youth My Pride’ 5th District Bandipora Yogasana Sports Championship successfully concluded on 12th of August 2024 at IDPS Bandipora. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Yogasana players across the district, showcasing their talent and dedication towards yogasana sports.
The closing ceremony was graced by Dr Raqib Rasool Parrey General Secretary J&K Yogasana Sports Association Mr. Mohammad who attended the event as the Chief Guest. The event was also honored by the presence of Mr. Mohammad Ayaz, an observer from the J&K Sports Council.
In his address, Dr Raqib congratulated all the participants for their outstanding performances and encouraged them to continue their journey in the field of sports and wellness. He emphasized the importance of yoga in maintaining physical and mental well-being, especially for the youth.
Mohammad Ayaz, representing the J&K Sports Council, expressed his appreciation for the organizers and participants. He assured continued support from the Sports Council to promote and develop sports activities, including yogasana, in the district.The event concluded with the distribution of medals and trophies among the participants, recognizing their hard work and dedication. The winners were applauded for their achievements, and all participants were encouraged to keep up their efforts in promoting health and fitness through yoga. The organizers extended their heartfelt thanks to all the dignitaries, participants, and supporters for making the championship a grand success.
