In next few years, we aim to reach 150 schools in J&K

Srinagar : Around 50 schools in various districts across Jammu and Kashmir have implemented LEAD’s Integrated School Edtech System.

The LEAD Group, India’s largest and fastest-growing School Edtech, is improving learning outcomes and building student confidence in schools across Jammu and Kashmir.  With its international standard curriculum, multi-modal teaching-learning methods and AI-driven solutions, LEAD Group’s NCF-aligned Integrated School System ensures that students are able to gain deep conceptual understanding of subjects.

Talking to reporters in Srinagar, Sumeet Mehta, CEO and Co-Founder, LEAD Group, said, a child spends 6 to 7 hours in school each day. Yet only a fraction of these students—those studying in high-fee schools in metropolitan areas—enjoy access to internationally benchmarked, multi-modal education.  “At LEAD Group, we are committed to changing this by empowering schools across Jammu and Kashmir with our Integrated School Edtech system, helping each school achieve educational excellence on par with their peers in big cities, irrespective of location,” he said.

CEO Mehta said that nearly 50 schools in multiple districts across Jammu and Kashmir have already implemented LEAD’s Integrated School Edtech System.  These schools are today able to meet the learning needs of all types of students – visual, kinesthetic or auditory, he said. The CEO further said that over a thousand teachers in J&K schools have already been trained and certified by LEAD Group.   “Over the next few years, LEAD Group aims to reach 150 schools in Jammu and Kashmir,” he added. Dr. Waseem Hanief, Chairman, Solace international, Boonura, Pulwama, said, “When teachers are well-equipped with the right learning resources, student learning outcomes automatically improve. “We have experienced this transformation with LEAD Group, through its teacher training modules, objective lesson plans and AI-powered assessments,” he said. Dr Waseem said that their students are able to better understand concepts and their academic performance is improving daily.  “Moreover, many of our students have worked on interesting projects such as developing apps and websites, as part of LEAD Group’s Coding and Computational Skills (CCS) program.  I’d strongly recommend LEAD Group to school owners in Jammu and Kashmir: they will find a difference,” he added. Asiya Yaqoob, Principal, New Convent School Srinagar, said, “New Convent School was established in 1986 and is today one of the leading schools in J&K.   “We had been searching for an Integrated School System that would combine multi-modal education, technology and modern curricula to ensure that our students were future-ready and confident; and LEAD Group was the perfect fit!,” she added. Sanjay Singh, Senior Educationist, Bhartiya Shiksha Kendra, Domana said that as a teacher, he has experienced a transformative impact with LEAD Group.   “LEAD has helped with lesson planning and has made teaching even more enjoyable.  Their structured approach to complex concepts has significantly improved student understanding and retention in my classroom,” he said. Singh said that LEAD’s real-time progress tracking helps me adjust my teaching methods effectively, and I am able to stay updated on the latest educational practices with LEAD Group’s Teacher Capability System.  “Overall, LEAD has helped me become a more effective, confident and motivated teacher,” he added.

LEAD Group enables academic excellence and operational efficiency for school administrators; boosts teacher skills and productivity; and helps better engage parents.   It is solving some of the biggest challenges facing affordable private schools in Jammu and Kashmir, including student proficiency in English; weak conceptual understanding of subjects; academic calendar planning; teacher effectiveness in the classroom; and subject-specific pedagogy.  LEAD Group partner schools in J&K have been able to derive the benefits of improved academic outcomes and greater favourability among  parents.

LEAD Group delivers over 1.5 years of English proficiency growth in a year through its program ‘ELGA’ (English Language and General Awareness), through which students learn English as a skill.    LEAD Group students have access to unique and holistic learning experiences and opportunities through national – level platforms such as LEAD’s Student Championship, and LEAD Masterclasses with subject matter experts and celebrities.  With LEAD Group, students gain confidence to succeed in life by building 21st Century skills such as Communication, Collaboration and Critical Thinking.  LEAD Group is today one of the few Edtech companies, globally, to offer a student mastery guarantee.   LEAD Group is transforming schools across India by bridging the gap between the quality of education available in Tier 2+ towns, and larger cities and metros.   LEAD’s multi-modal, Integrated School Edtech System is available to over 9000 schools in 400+ towns and cities; reaches more than 5 million students;  and empowers over 50,000 teachers.   LEAD group is India’s largest School Edtech company and is promoted by Leadership Boulevard Private Limited.

This group was founded in 2012 by Sumeet Mehta and Smita Deorah, with the mission to transform school education in India.  It combines deeply researched curriculum and pedagogy with technology to deliver an integrated system of teaching and learning that improves student learning outcomes and teacher performance in 9000+ schools across India.  LEAD Group’s Integrated School Edtech System is available to schools in 400+ towns and cities across India, reaching 5 million students and empowering over 50,000 teachers. LEAD-powered schools provide children with international standard education and national-level exposure for all-round growth, with a focus on helping them become confident and succeed in life.
