Srinagar : Police alongwith Revenue & Excise Department on Wednesday carried out wild bhung destruction drive in Budgam.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that Police Post Narbal along with Revenue and Excise department carried out wild bhung destruction drive at village KawoosaKhalisa and its adjacent areas especially on the banks of river Sukhnag and destroyed wild bhung spread over vast area of land.
In the concluding para of the above quoted statement police said that it has remained committed to eradicate the dreadful menace of drugs and such drives would be continued in future also. Police also appealed people to come forward with any information related to drugs in their areas. Police assures strict action as per law.
