Jammu: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday chargesheeted a Pak-based Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist among four persons including of The Resistance Front (TRF) for killing two non-local civilians in February this year in Kashmir.
As per the handout, the accused, Adil Manzoor Langoo, Ahran Rasool Dar alias Tota, Dawood, and their Pakistan-based handler Jahangeer alias Peer Sahab, have been chargesheeted under various sections of IPC and UA (P) Act. The NIA special court, Jammu, has already issued an open non-bailable warrant against absconding accused Jahangir alias Peer Sahab.
All four accused were involved in the killing of two civilians on the evening of February 7, 2024, at Karfali Mohalla, Shala Kadal, Srinagar.
The NIA took over the case in June this year and re-registered it.
Further investigations into the case are in progress.
