Jammu : Police on Tuesday said that its cyber cell has recovered Rs 40,000/- in Jammu city.
In a statement issued from District Police Headquarters Jammu Police said that a dedicated unit of cyber cell of police consistently dealing with cases of online frauds and cyber crime for ensuring the safety and security of the people in Jammu district has once again successfully recovered hard earned money of acomplainant. Stating that the fraudster has fraudulently transferred the complainants hard earned money into his bank account, Police in its statement further said that cyber cell DPO Jammu took no time to start the investigations and acted swiftly while exhibiting the ultimate professional excellence through its dedicated skilled human resource which was put to task and in no time the lost amount of Rs 40,000/-was recovered from the erring fraudster.
In the concluding para of its above quoted statement Police said that District Police Jammu, equipped with advanced technology and expert human resource remains at the forefront in the fight against cybercriminals.
