Jammu|Aug, 5 :  Army troops opened fire on seeing suspicious movement at two separate locations in the Akhnoor and Sunderbani areas of Jammu.

Official sources on Monday said that the Army troops, on seeing the movement of suspects in the Battal Sector of Akhnoor and the Sunderbani Sector during midnight, fired a few rounds.

“The fire was not retaliated,” said sources, adding that a massive search operation was launched.

Security along the International Border and the Line of Control has been further heightened in view of the fifth anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370 on Monday.
