Badminton tournament under NashaMukt Bharat gets under way in Udhampur

Udhamapur: The 4th day of the Badminton Tournament, conducted as part of the “NashaMukt Bharat” initiative, got under way under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, SaloniRai.
The event was meticulously supervised by Kanika Gupta, DSWO, with logistical support from the Department of Youth Services and Sports.
The tournament held at the Mini Stadium in which Friday’s matches featured singles categories for both Under-17 and Under-19 age groups. Approximately 60 students participated in the day’s events, showcasing their skills and competitive spirit.
The chief guests for the occasion, including ZPEO Udhampur, Sanjay Sharma and Ajit Singh, expressed commendation towards the players from both within the district and beyond. They also lauded the District Administration of Udhampur for their dedicated efforts towards this significant initiative.
