Bandipora : As part of the Swachhata Pakhwada 2024, educational institutions across Bandipora district on Thursday organised Swachhata Pledge and cleanliness drives, reinforcing their commitment to environmental sustainability and hygiene.
The Swachhata Pakhwada, a fortnightly campaign focused on cleanliness, saw students and staff from various schools and colleges taking the Swachhata Pledge emphasising the importance of cleanliness and encourages individuals to take personal responsibility for maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
Following the pledge, the educational institutions organized extensive cleanliness drives within their campuses including thorough cleaning of school premises, waste segregation, and awareness sessions on the importance of proper sanitation practices.
The efforts aimed not only at improving campus cleanliness but also at fostering long-term habits of hygiene and environmental responsibility among students.
