Jammu : Police on Wednesday said that it has secured confirmation orders for the attachment of four properties belonging to drug peddlers namely Rajiv Nagar and Ragoora areas of Sub Division East under Operation Sanjeevani.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu police said that this operation falls under the jurisdiction of Police Stations Bahu Fort and Bagh-e-Bahu, adding therein that individuals whose properties have been attached include Pal Singh, along with Seema (also known as Kheeri), both residents of Rajiv Nagar and Reena (also known as Roopa) W/o Bobby. Polce in its statement further said that Shakeela (also known as Shakeela Devi), W/O Ashok Kumar and Fareed Ali R/o Lower Ragoora, is also among those affected by the property attachments.
In the concluding para of its above quoted statement police said that these drug peddlers reside in Rajiv nagar and Ragoora area of Jammu, adding therein that the properties were attached and subsequently sent to the competent authority under NDPS Act / SAFEMA Act for confirmation which was successfully obtained.
