Distt Admin B’la Gears Up for Swachhata Pakhwada

Baramulla: The District Administration Baramulla is all set to launch the Swachhata Pakhwada campaign, with a strong commitment to enhancing cleanliness and sanitation across the district.
Additional District Development Commissioner Baramulla, Syed Qamar Sajad has directed all officers to put forth their best efforts to ensure the campaign’s grand success.
In a meeting chaired by the ADDC Baramulla, detailed plans were discussed, and responsibilities were assigned to various departments to ensure coordinated efforts during the fortnight-long initiative. The meeting emphasized the importance of active participation from all stakeholders, including government officials, local organizations, and the community.
SwachhataPakhwada, aimed at promoting cleanliness and hygiene, will involve activities such as community cleaning drives, awareness programs, and educational campaigns. The district administration is determined to engage citizens, schools, local organizations, and volunteers to participate actively in this campaign.
ADDC Baramulla emphasized the importance of collective efforts in making the campaign successful. “It is crucial that we work together to make Baramulla cleaner and greener. I urge all officers and residents to participate wholeheartedly in Swachhata Pakhwada and contribute to a healthier environment,” he said.
The campaign will kick off with a series of events, including tree plantation drives, waste management workshops etc.
