Jammu : In anticipation of the forthcoming Independence Day celebrations, Jammu and Kashmir Police organized a crucial meeting at Hotel Vardan, near the General Bus Stand, on 31-07-2024.
The session was coordinated by the Jammu District Police under the jurisdiction of Police Station Nowabad and was attended by members of the Hotel and Restaurant Association of the Jewel area.
The meeting started with an introduction by Pawan Gupta, President of the Hotel Association, who welcomed SP City North and other officials from the Sub Division Headquarters. SP City North addressed the attendees, providing an overview of the current security situation in Jammu and Kashmir and stressing the importance of increased vigilance during this period.
Attendees were instructed to maintain detailed guest records and report any suspicious activities promptly, as part of heightened security measures. SP City North and other officers also addressed various concerns raised by the association members, ensuring that all issues were resolved effectively. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from Baldev Raj, Secretary of the Hotel and Restaurant Association.
