Jammu: Traffic Police City Jammu launched a special drive against overloading of commercial vehicle (PSV’s/E-Rickshaws) in Jammu City.
During the special drive many violators were booked in which 03 e-rickshaws were seized and 04 Buses/Mini Buses were given challan against overloading under M.V. Act.
Besides this, private vans being utilized for school duties were also Challaned for contravention of RC. Further awareness was imparted among the violators to follow traffic rules and regulations. Traffic Police City Jammu advises general public to refrain from boarding in overloaded vehicles to avoid inconvenience and to safeguard their lives.
