Jammu: The Cyber Cell of the Jammu & Kashmir Police in the Jammu District has successfully recovered an amount of one lakh rupees.
The dedicated unit, known for tackling online fraud and cybercrime, acted swiftly after a complainant reported being defrauded. The complainant had been approached via WhatsApp by a fraudster who persuaded him to invest his hard-earned money in a trading scheme. The victim invested and subsequently lost one lakh rupees.
Upon receiving the complaint, the Cyber Cell promptly initiated an investigation. Leveraging their skilled personnel and advanced technology, they efficiently recovered the lost amount. The District Police Jammu, with its expertise and resources, continues to lead efforts against cybercriminals.
