Doda : Under the supervision of District Election Officer Doda Harvinder Singh, the District Election Office Doda conducted the training of Booth Level Officers (BLOs) for Assembly Constituency 53-Doda West on July 26, 2024, at Town Hall Doda.
The session focused on the 2nd Special Summary Revision with respect to the qualifying date of July 1, 2024. Master Trainers provided detailed training on various aspects including ERONET, BLO updates, Assured Minimum Facilities, latitude and longitude mapping, and the usage of different types of maps on the BLO App.
During the training, participants were informed about the schedule of SSR-2024, which includes Special Camp Days on July 27-28 and August 3-4, 2024. The session aimed to ensure that BLOs are well-prepared to carry out their duties efficiently and accurately. The training also included discussions on the importance of updating the electoral rolls and ensuring the availability of necessary facilities at polling stations.
The meeting saw the active participation of officials from the District Election Office, Doda. Naib Tehsildar Joginder Kumar, Ikhlaq Ahmed, Sr. Election Assistant and Nazia Kousar, Sr. Election Assistant, were also present, providing valuable insights and guidance to the BLOs. Directions were given on how to handle various scenarios during the summary revision process and the importance of accurate data entry in ERONET.
Participants in the training were well-engaged, with ample opportunities to ask questions and clarify doubts. The comprehensive training session aimed to enhance the effectiveness of BLOs in maintaining and updating the electoral rolls, thus ensuring a smooth and transparent electoral process.
