Bandipora: SANKALP Hub for Women Empowerment Mission Shakti working under the supervision of Department of Social Welfare Bandiporaon Thursdayorganised two significant camps in the remote areas of Bandipora.
The awareness cum distribution camps were held in Middle School GabpathriDardpora and High School KudaraSumlar as part of the BetiBachaoBetiPadhao (BBBP) initiative.
At the camps, team Mission Shakti distributed educational kits among underprivileged girls, emphasizing the importance of education and providing support for their academic pursuits.
The District Mission Coordinator of SANKALP Hub Mission Shakti Bandipora interacted with the students, encouraged them to continue their education and informed them about various government schemes designed for their support and development.
The local school staff at both locations expressed their gratitude and praised the efforts made by the Social Welfare Department to reach these far-flung areas, ensuring that even the most marginalized communities receive necessary educational resources.
These camps are meant to ensure the department’s commitment for empowering young girls through education and awareness, providing them the tools and knowledge to secure a better future, said Coordinator Mission Shakti.
