Awantipora The Department of Mathematical Sciences, Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Kashmir on Wednesday organized an awareness program on Mathematical Olympiad at Mantaqi Memorial Wakf Higher Secondary School-Awantipora. The program witnessed huge participation of students of fostering a spirit of mathematical inquiry and excellence.
According to a statement issued from Public Relations Office IUST here, Dr. Peer Bilal, Head Department of Mathematical Sciences, underscored the importance of the Mathematical Olympiad and highlighted the significance of such competitions in enhancing problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and fostering a deep appreciation for mathematics among young learners.
Dr. Bilal Ahmad Para, faculty Department of Mathematical Sciences, provided a comprehensive overview of the different stages of the Olympiad, and equiped students with the knowledge and tools required to excel in such prestigious competitions.
