Srinagar: Police on Monday that it has received confirmation about attachment of a property of a drug peddler of Resham Ghar Colony Jammu.
In a statement issued from District Police Headquarters Jammu Police said that under Operation Sanjeevani in Jammu district in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bakshi Nagar the confirmation order of property attachment of a drug peddler of Resham Ghar colony was received from the competent authority, adding therein that Sudesh Kumari W/o Subash Chander had become a drug peddler residing in Reshamghar Colony, Jammu and a menace to society in the area.
Stating that the property was attached in the first week of June and subsequently sent to the competent authority under NDPS Act / SAFEMA Act for confirmation which was successfully obtained, Police in its statement further said that Sudesh Kumari has been implicated in multiple drug-related cases and is currently incarcerated in District Jail Ambphalla, Jammu under case FIR No. 41/2024 U/S 8/21/22/25/29/NPS Act of Police Station Bakshi Nagar, Jammu.
