Ramban : Out of Seven cases reviewed, by Additional District Magistrate Ramban (ADM), Varunjeet Singh Charak, who also serves as Adjudicating Officer Ramban, two were decided with imposing Rs. 50000 penalties levied against the Trader, including Edible Soyabean Oil Manufacturer, M/S Spire Industries SIDCO Bari Brahmana Jammu, for the sale & Manufacturing of sub-standard Edible Oil. These violations are in direct contravention of the FSS Act-2006. Other cases were deferred to the next hearing due to the absence of respondents.
