Srinagar : Police on Tuesday said that it has booked one person under Public Safety Act in Baramulla after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent Authority.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that one Bashir Ahmad Beigh S/o Ghulam Mohiuddin R/o Shirpora Chandoosa Baramulla has been detained and subsequently lodged in Central Jail Srinagar after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority.
Police in its statement further said that many cases were registered against the said accused for being involved in disturbingLaw and Order and subversion, adding therein that despite his involvement in many FIRs, he did not mend his anti-national and anti-social activities.
