Srinagar : Chairman Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Fron (J&K PDF) has dismissed the allegations of Director General J&K Police R R Swain that mainstream leaders are encouraging militancy in Jammu & Kashmir, Clarifying therein that mainstream leaders can’t be blamed for security failures in Jammu & Kashmir.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday Hakeem said that J&K DGP R R Swain blaming mainstream political leaders instead of curbing
militancy is highly regrettable stating therein that mainstream leaders have always backed police and security forces besides acknowledging their
supreme sacrifices for restoration of peace and security in Jammu & Kashmir. Reminding that hundreds of workers of mainstream political parties have
sacrificed their lives for security, peace, national sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country the PDP Chairman appealed Jammu & Kashmir Lt Governor, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to restrain DGP and other bureaucrats from politicising the security failures and review the working of the security grid in Jammu & Kashmir for containing and curbing militancy in nook and corner of Jammu & Kashmir.
