Srinagar : Police on Friday said that it has arrested an absconder in Baramulla who was evading his arrest from last four years.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that a Police Party of Police Station Boniyar arrested an absconder namely Feroz Ahmad Khan S/o Gh Mohammad R/o Zehanpora Biniyar involved in case FIR No. 12/2020 u/s 498-A, 147,34 & 506 IPC of Police Station Boniyar, adding therein that the said accused was arrested under the warrant issued by the Court of JMIC Boniyar against him following which he was produced before the Court and subsequently lodged in District Jail Baramulla.
In the concluding para of its above quoted statement police reiterated its ccommitment keep society free of crime and also resolved to act as per law against those indulging in criminal activities.
