DC Rajouri reviews progress of data collection (DCFs) for PDI

Rajouri: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Om PrakashBhagat on Tuesday chaired a comprehensive meeting with concerned officers to discuss the progress of Data Collection Format (DCF) for Panchayat Development Index (PDI) with Line Departments.
The Panchayat Development Index (PDI) is a vital tool that measures the performance of panchayats as per Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) targets. It provides a holistic and evidence-based assessment of the development status of panchayats, highlighting their strengths and weaknesses.
The PDI evaluates the performance of panchayats based on various developmental parameters from 9 departments like Education, Health, Agriculture, JJM, RDD, Revenue, Police, ICDS and FCS&CA.
The meeting discussed the indicators of Panchayat Development Index in detail, which evaluate the performance of panchayats based on various development parameters.
The DC stressed the importance of early removal of bottlenecks and emphasized close coordination among departments to ensure timely updation of all indicators on the PDI portal of the district after proper validation of the data of line departments.
The meeting was attended by the GM DIC, Fareed Kohli; CPO, Maqsood Ahmed; ACP, SherazChowhan; DPO, Mohammad Nawaz Choudhary; CEO Education, Mohammad Mushtaq; AD FCS&CA, Rohit Kumar; EXEN Jal Shakti Rajouri; DySPLateef Ahmad; Ashwini Sharma; Tehsildars and other concerned officers.
