Jammu : In order to bridge the gap between Police & Public, SP Headquarters Jammu accompanied by SDPO RS Pura and SHO Police Station Bishnah conducted a Police Community Partnership Group meeting (PCPG) at village Chak Bhana Jatta, Bishnah.
According to a statement issued from District Police Headquarters Jammu the meeting was attended by number of Ex-Sarpanchs, Panchs, Lamberdars, Chowkidars and respectables citizens of the area and large number of youth as well as prominent The participants raised various issues of public importance in the meeting for their redressal.
Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants, the chairing officers assured that the genuine issues will be taken up with the concerned authorities for their immediate redressal besides issues related to Police will be resolved in shortest possible time. The participants were stressed to co-operate with Police in maintaining law and order in the area and in identifying anti-national and anti-social elements who always try to disrupt the peaceful environment.Participants were also briefed about the benefits of CCTV installation. “The Participants appreciated the role of police in curbing drug menace in the area”, said Police in its above quoted statement, adding therein that the participant were also apprised regarding the do’s and don’ts with regard to the cyber security guidelines The participants in the meeting assured their full co-operation to police in tackling the social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in conducting community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.
