Baltal: In a commendable effort to ensure the safety of pilgrims, the Jai Baba Amarnath Swami Langar Committee from Sangrur has launched an initiative to distribute free helmets to those embarking on the Amarnath Yatra. This initiative aims to protect the pilgrims from potential hazards, such as falling stones, during their journey to the sacred Amarnath Cave.
The distribution is taking place at the Domail Baltal base camp, a crucial starting point for many devotees. The committee’s proactive measure is receiving widespread appreciation from pilgrims and authorities alike, as it significantly enhances the safety of the devotees undertaking the arduous trek. The initiative is part of a broader set of safety measures being implemented this year, including improved medical facilities and increased security presence along the route. Pilgrims are encouraged to take advantage of these free helmets and other safety provisions to ensure a secure and fulfilling pilgrimage experience. As the Amarnath Yatra progresses, the Jai Baba Amarnath Swami Langar Committee’s initiative stands as a testament to the power of community-driven efforts in safeguarding the well-being of pilgrims, ensuring that their journey to the sacred site is as safe and serene as possible.
