MPs Mian Altaf, Aga Ruhullah seek elaborate arrangements for Muharam-Ul-Haram observance

Srinagar : The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Members of the Parliament, Mian Altaf Ahmad and Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi on Thursday urged the LG administration to make all necessary preparations for the upcoming month of Muharram-ul-Haram.
According to a statement issued from party headquarters here, the Party MPs emphasized the critical need for fool-proof arrangements to ensure the seamless facilitation of mourners at all locations. They urged that every effort be made to guarantee that all religious gatherings and processions proceed with utmost smoothness and tranquility.
The MPs urged the concerned line departments to rise up to the occasion and ensure that every detail is meticulously attended to.
They urged the district administration to prioritize enhancing road connectivity to Imambaras, ensuring uninterrupted power supply, providing clean drinking water facilities, maintaining proper cleanliness and sanitation in and around Imambaras, and distributing ration and other amenities in advance.
