DC B’pora reaches Tulail, Attends Launch event of Sampoornata Abhiyaan in Aspirational Block Tulail

DC hands-Over Keys of Mechanized Agricultural Machinery to eligible farmers

Bandipora : As part of the Aspirational Block Programme, Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, Shakeel ul Rehman reached far-flung Block Tualil of Gurez Sub Division on Thursday and attended launch event of Sampoornata Abhiyaan in the Aspirational Block Tulail of Bandipora District.
Initiated by NITI Aayog, the Sampoornata Abhiyaan event was held at Government Hr. Secondary School Badugam Tulail, and was also attended by DDC Tulail Raja Ajaz Khan; Saurabh Sharma, representative of NITI Aayog, and a large gathering of locals from Block Tulail.
The Sampoornata Abhiyaan aims to saturate the identified KPIs within three months, starting from July 4, 2024. The objectives cover Health & Nutrition, Education, Agriculture, and Social Development.
The launch event of the campaign at Badugam Tulail witnessed multifarious activities, including a painting competition, cultural performances, and practical demonstrations.
Addressing the gathering, DC said, “Sampoornata Abhiyaan aims to bridge developmental gaps and bring about transformative changes, ensuring a brighter future for the Aspirational Blocks.”
He said, “NITI Aayog has launched the Sampoornata Abhiyaan with the goal of achieving saturation of KPIs in Bandipora’s Tulail Block, which has been nominated as an Aspirational Block.”
DC said, “Sampoornata Abhiyaan is a concerted effort to drive rapid and effective development in underdeveloped areas, and this year, two villages of the block have been taken up under CSR for infrastructure development related to health, education, road connectivity, and other areas.”
The Deputy Commissioner also highlighted the strategies and the role of citizens in saturating the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in Aspirational Block Tulail. He said the District Administration Bandipora has taken all the necessary measures to focus on six key performance indicators and ensure their complete saturation to achieve a quick and substantial impact on the lives of the people.
The Deputy Commissioner also flagged off a rally of students carrying placards with messages for the general public about saturating Key Performance Indicators.
During the event, keys of mechanized agricultural machinery were also handed over to eligible beneficiaries.
DDC Tulail, Raja Ajaz Khan, on the occasion, deliberated on the objectives of launching Sampoornata Abhiyaan in Aspirational Block Tulail. He also highlighted the positive impact of improved infrastructure in the health sector, road connectivity, and other essentials in the area.
Earlier, the Deputy Commissioner inspected various stalls set up by different departments, highlighting the schemes implemented for public welfare.
Among others, the launch event of Sampoornata Abhiyaan was attended by SDM Gurez, CPO Mohammad Maqbool, and other district and sectoral officers, besides a large gathering of the public and local representatives.
