Srinagar, July 02: Security forces on Tuesday recovered significant cache of arms, ammunition and explosives during a search operation in Nangari forest area of Darpora Kralpora in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
An official said that based on specific inputs from Kupwara Police, a joint search operation was launched by Kupwara Police, Army and BSF in general area of Nangari forest in Dardpora Kralpora area of Kupwara district.
He said during searches a significant cache of arms, ammunition and explosives were recovered.
Giving details the official said that the search operation yielded recovery of huge quantity of war-like stores which include 8 AK magazines, 445 live AK rounds, 1 Pistol, 3 Pistol magazines, 13 live Pistol rounds and 1 hand grenade.
