First Batch of Amarnath Yatra Pilgrims Arrives at Baltal Base Camp

G’bal: The first group of pilgrims for this year’s Amarnath Yatra arrived at the Baltal base camp Friday, marking the start of the sacred journey. The district administration and local police warmly welcomed the devotees.
Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, and SSP Ganderbal, were present to greet the pilgrims. They highlighted the extensive security and medical arrangements made to ensure a smooth pilgrimage. The administration’s coordinated efforts aim to provide a safe and comfortable experience for all pilgrims. Comprehensive preparations include enhanced transportation facilities, constant weather monitoring, and the deployment of medical teams along the route. The start of this significant annual event attracts thousands of devotees from across the country, bringing a sense of devotion and unity to the region. The administration is committed to addressing any challenges promptly, ensuring a seamless journey for all pilgrims.
