Srinagar : The Jammu and Kashmir government has appointed Dr. Mohammad Ashraf Ganie as the Director of Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) in Soura, Srinagar, with immediate effect.
According to an official order, Dr. Ganie, a professor in the Department of Endocrinology at SKIMS, has been selected for this prestigious position following the recommendation of the institute’s governing body.
Dr. Mohammad Ashraf Ganie is a highly esteemed figure in medical science, particularly recognized for his significant contributions to endocrinology and metabolic disorders.
He began his tenure at SKIMS in 2013 as a Professor of Endocrinology, after serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Endocrinology at AIIMS New Delhi.
