Srinagar : Police on Wednesday said that it has booked a drug peddler under PIT NDPS Act after obtaining orders from the competent authority here in Kulgam.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that the drug Peddler namely Imran Ahmad Ganie S/o Mohammad Ramzan Ganie R/o Nassu Badragund, Qazigund has been detained under PIT NDPS Act after obtaining the orders issued by the competent authority and has been lodged in District Jail Kot Balwal, Jammu.
In the concluding para of its above quoted statement police reassured the people of making all efforts to keep our society free from drug abuse.
